A new turbocharged version of the Lexus LF-NX concept has been revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Following on from the LF-NX which was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show two months ago, the LF-NX Turbo features a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a number of minor styling tweaks.

From the outside, the LF-NX Turbo looks broadly similar to the LF-NX; however, Lexus has given the car's signature spindle grille a smoked chrome finish, a narrow black mesh lower air intake and a matte chrome chin spoiler.

The wheel arches have been given a high-gloss black finish and at the rear there's a new bumper design with a full-width aerodynamic diffuser.

The LF-NX Turbo's 2.0-litre engine has been optimised for performance, efficiency and emissions, with the turbo operating across the widest possible rev range. The exhaust manifold has also been incorporated into the cylinder head which Lexus claims helps to optimise exhaust gas temperature.
