The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge, a concept car which gives us a glimpse at future high-profile Infiniti models, has been revealed today at the Detroit Motor Show.
Unfortunately, the Q50 Eau Rouge is still in the concept stages at the moment and Infiniti has not yet released any information on the car's oily bits. Johan de Nysschen, President of Infiniti, did however reveal that the Eau Rouge will be powered by "a big personality, V-cylinder engine with forced induction."
As you'd expect from a car named after a corner at Spa-Francorchamps, the Q50 Eau Rouge is packed with F1-style kit gleaned from Infiniti's collaboration with Red Bull Racing. There are new front and rear wings, a carbon-fibre front splitter, rear diffuser and side skirts; Infiniti claims that only the door profiles and roof have been carried over unchanged from the standard Q50.
Other changes include new 21-inch forged alloy wheels, a dual-exhaust system and a rear fog light which has clearly been influenced by the rear lights fitted to Formula One cars.
On the inside, the Eau Rouge gets a high-grip sports steering wheel with F1-style paddle shifters, red carbon-fibre detailing and smatterings of dark chrome.
