The Peugeot Partner Tepee 1.6 e-HDi 92 S 5dr's 1.6-litre diesel engine develops 90bhp and 158 lb-ft of torque. This translates into a 0-62mph time of 14.3 seconds and a top speed of 103mph. So it's not exactly fast but you get enough grunt to pull you along well.
The Partner Tepee exhibits a lot of body roll through corners thanks to its tall body but the ride's comfortable enough and there's plenty of grip through the bends.
You're not going to be turning any heads in the Partner Tepee and if style is important to you, buy another car. Having said that, the Partner is hardly ugly and, for a van with windows, does a relatively good job of looking stylish.
The level of standard kit is very basic. You get electric front windows, electric mirrors and a CD player with Bluetooth connectivity. In terms of optional extras, Bluetooth will cost you £210, sat-nav will set you back £750, alloy wheels will cost £420 and air-con is priced at £610.
This is where the Partner Tepee S 1.6 e-HDi 92 EGC plays its joker - it offers bags of practicality. With the rear seats up you get an impressive 675-litres of boot space and with them down you get a cavernous 3,000-litres. There's also plenty of cabin space, making the Partner ideal for family motoring.
You get driver and passenger airbags as standard but Peugeot will make you fork out another £330 for the privilege of side airbags.
Peugeot have a pretty dreadful reputation when it comes to reliability but the Partner Tepee is supplied with a 3 year/60,000 mile warranty.
At £15,095, the Partner Tepee is excellent value for money, despite its lack of standard equipment.
Running costs should also be low thanks to that efficient diesel engine. You'll get 58.9mpg on the combined cycle which is very good for a car with the Pug's proportions and CO2 emissions of 125g/km mean that the Partner falls under VED band D.
