Mitsubishi ASX Overview

The car provides good value for money, with a spacious cabin that has room for five passengers. The interior is attractively styled with a decent amount of standard equipment. Moreover, resale values will be high.

The Mitsubishi ASX is available with a range of engines and a 5 or 6 speed transmission. Another advantage of the vehicle is that it is cheaper to run than many of its rivals.

Background

The Mitsubishi RVR was first released in 1991. In Europe it was known as the Mitsubishi Space Runner.

The car was a 4-door that came in several different trims. 5 speed and 4 speed transmissions were available.

The second generation of the car was in production between 1997 and 2002. This model was given a facelift and sported a redesigned exterior that was much more aesthetically pleasing. The vehicle also received many changes inside the cabin and was equipped with a greater level of technology.

It was not until 2010 that Mitsubishi sold the model as the ASX, in its third generation.

The new model is a 5 door and is offered with a greater range of engines. The exterior has a much sleeker look about it and the car has improved fuel economy.

Summary

The Mitsubishi ASX is an accomplished 4x4 that is spacious inside and makes for an excellent family car, providing a refined driving experience.
