Subaru has revealed the specification details for its new 2+2 BRZ coupe.
The Japanese manufacturer has revealed that top-specification models of the BRZ will have 17-inch alloy wheels, front, side, curtain and knee airbags, MP3 connectivity, climate control and LED daytime running lights, as well as Subaru's Vehicle Dynamic Control system. It comes with either a six-speed short-shift manual or paddle-operated automatic gearbox fitted to a 197bhp 2.0-litre Boxer engine. The BRZ comes with six colour options - WR Blue Mica, Sterling Silver, Satin White, Crystal Black Silica, Dark Grey Metallic and San Remo Red.
A lower-spec model will follow later in the year, as will a third 'stripped out' version of the BRZ that Subaru hope will appeal to track-day enthusiasts.
In addition to the three-year 60,000 mile warranty, Subaru will offer a three-year 'Everything Taken Care Of' package with the BRZ, which includes minor dent and scratch repairs, alloy wheel repairs, monthly wash 'n' vac, annual full valet, lost keys replacement, service collection and delivery, annual wheel alignment check, first MOT cover, accident management service, insurance excess cover contribution, and winter wheel and tyre storage.
Pricing structure and launch details will be confirmed at a later date.
