Skoda have announced that they will extend their Fabia line-up with a new Monte Carlo model, celebrating both 100 years of the Monte Carlo rally, and 110 years of the firm’s involvement in motorsport.
A new Fabia Monte Carlo model will be launched by Skoda, featuring a new bespoke interior and a range of sports accessories. The athletic sporty look of the Monte Carlo will be underlined by the application of piano-black body trim, extending over the wheel arches and across the whole length of the vehicle. A black roof, black door mirror covers, a black radiator grille top, 17 inch black lightweight ‘Trinity’ alloy wheels and smoked headlamps will complete the look.
For the interior, buyers of the Fabia Monte Carlo will be offered a choice between black or red and black sports seats with extra side support. Both of these versions will come with black roof lining, leather handbrake and gearstick gaiter - with red stitching if you opt for the red and black version - a perforated leather steering wheel, silver kick plates and steel pedals.
Fittingly, the new Fabia Monte Carlo will make its debut at the Monte Carlo Rally. It will be available with a number of engines, but as a hatchback only.
