Skoda have provided a glimpse of what the next generation of their popular Fabia range will look like with the release of the initial design sketch.
The image shows a striking and dynamic design which displays obvious influences taken from the Skoda VisionC show car.
The manufacturer also claims inspiration from its motorsport department, with the new model nine centimetres wider and three centimetres lower than the current Fabia, which will result in a well-balanced drive. Skoda say the new Fabia will offer a completely new interior, with an emphasis on customisation options.
News of the new Fabia comes hot-on-the-heels of a successful year for the Skoda brand, which sold over 920,000 vehicles worldwide in 2013.
