Honda has today announced the UK price for the new Civic Type R Limited Edition, but it has come too late for anyone thinking of placing an order.
That’s because the full UK allocation of 20 examples has already sold out, even before it had been seen, driven, or revealed how much it would cost.
The performance-focused Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition boasts 20-inch BBS forged alloy wheels, unique Sunlight Yellow paint, and weighs 47kg less than the standard Type R. It also comes with a new Alcantara wrapped steering wheel and a counterweighted teardrop gear knob.
For what it’s worth, the price tag was £39,995 on-the-road.
