Renault has confirmed the pricing and specification details for the new facelifted Megane, which is available to order now.
Prices for the new Megane hatchback start from £16,745, with prices for the Coupe and Sport Tourer estate models starting from £17,645 and £17,745, respectively.
The Megane has been updated for the 2014 model year with a range of styling tweaks which bring the car in line with Renault's current corporate image. At the front end there's a new, more prominent, Renault logo set against a gloss black background. There's also a new bumper, a sculpted bonnet and vent grilles as well as new elliptical headlights with daytime-running lights.
From January there will be four trim levels on offer: Expression+, Knight Edition, Dynamique TomTom and GT-Line TomTom. Equipment levels have been improved across the range with automatic dual-zone climate control now available on Dynamique TomTom models, LED daytime-running lights available on Expression+ models and R-Link available on the top-of-the-range GT-Line TomTom.
Five engines will be on offer, with the 1.2 TCe 115 petrol now available on Expression+ models and the 1.2 TCe 130 and dCi 110 now available on the GT Line TomTom trim across every bodystyle. The 1.5 dCi 90 and 2.0 dCi 165 are no longer available.
The first facelifted Meganes will be on display in UK showrooms from January 2014.
