Renault are set to release a highly exclusive limited edition version of their award-winning hot hatch, the Renaultsport.
A limited run of just 50 cars will be made available in the UK for a new, exclusive version of the Clio Renaultsport. It will feature a wide array of extra equipment, and will be made available to order from the end of October, when the full details and pricing will be announced.
The new 200 Raider car will be finished in matte Renault i.d. paintwork, in Stealth Grey or Viavolo Red, to contrast with the gloss black finish on the roof, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, door mirrors, F1-style front blade, and 18 inch 'Interlagos' alloy wheels. These wheels will be fitted with Bridgestone RE 050A tyres - the same tyres fitted to the record-breaking Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy.
Other styling features include extra-tinted tailgate and rear side windows, Raider badge, and a red finish on the Brembo brake callipers.
Renault's acclaimed Cup chassis will be present, featuring a lower ride height, stiffer springs and dampers for a racier drive, and a faster steering ratio.
The interior of the new car includes leather upholstery on the Recaro seats, and zinc grey finish for the centre console and fascia inserts, which contrasts with the white rev counter. The infotainment system features Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and automatic climate control has also been included. Renaultsport carpets provide a nice finishing touch for the interior, as does a numbered plate identifying where the car comes in the limited run of 50. Buyers will be offered a choice between Renaultsport Monitor - Renaultsport's on-board telemetry system, or a Carminat TomTom Live satellite navigation system, with no extra cost for either option.
