Nissan is marking the launch of is new second-generation Qashqai with a new limited-run special edition model.
Just 290 examples of the Nissan Qashqai Premier Edition will be made available to UK customers, each car coming with its own numbered badge marking the model's limited edition status. 2,007 examples of the car will be sold worldwide, a figure which references the year of the original Qashqai's introduction.
Based on the top-of-the-range Tekna trim, the Premier Edition gets a range of kit unique to the model, including part leather and Alcantara trim, a dark roof liner, custom carpets and chrome door sills. Like the Tekna, the Premier Edition also comes with 19-inch alloys, Bi-LED headlamps, roof rails, heated front seats, sat-nav and a panoramic glass roof.
The car will be available in Pearl Black only and is offered with the Qashqai's 128bhp 1.6-litre dieel engine which is capable of 64.2mpg and 115g/km of CO2.
Prices for the Qashqai Premier Edition have yet to be confirmed.
