Nissan has confirmed it will reveal its new Juke Nismo RS, a harder, faster version of the Juke Nismo, at the Los Angeles Motor Show next month.
Although no official details on the Juke Nismo RS have been released, it seems likely that the 197bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged engine fitted to the standard Juke Nismo (pictured above) will be tweaked to produce around 230bhp. There'll be more torque too and as a result of these changes we'd expect to see the standard Nismo's 7.8 second 0-62mph time shaved to under 7.0 seconds.
On top of this, it seems likely that Nissan will give the Nismo RS a lower, firmer suspension setup than the standard Nismo, along with bigger brakes.
Of course, none of these figures are set in stone and we'll keep you updated as and when Nissan releases some official performance stats.
Stay tuned.
