Toyota have added a new top-of-the-range model to their popular Hilux pick-up range.

Available to order now priced from £23,842, the new - ambitiously named - Toyota Hilux Invincible X builds on the existing Invincible specification with a host of new styling extras. Available in Double Cab form only, the 169bhp, 3.0-litre diesel-powered Hilux Invincible X boasts a 2.8-tonne towing capacity, with permanent four-wheel drive and auto-disconnecting differential the Hilux Invincible X comes with a choice of four 17-inch alloy wheel styles, with the standard Invincible rim joined by a new five-spoke Rica design available in all-black, black and machined two-tone finish, or black graphite finish. The new model also gains chrome tubular side bars as standard, available with or without steps. A rear hi-over bar can be specified, while the Style Pack adds front guard, silver-finished under-run, aluminium-finish scuff plates, and chrome door handles and surrounds to the bonnet air intake and rear light clusters.

Inside the cabin, the Hilux Invincible X comes with a choice of four leather upholstered sports seat styles – standard Invincible black, or custom two-tone black with either grey, saddle tan or deep red inserts embossed with the X logo. Other standard equipment includes climate control, cruise control, dusk-sensing headlights, front fog lights, rear privacy glass, front side, and curtain airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, headlamp cleaners, rear-view camera, alarm, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors and Toyota’s Touch 2 touchscreen-controlled multimedia system with Bluetooth.

Order books for the new model are now open, priced from £23,842 for the 5-speed manual transmission and £1,000 more if chosen with an automatic gearbox. First deliveries are expected to commence later this month.
