The new face-lifted Peugeot 208 will be available for sale in June and comes with a range of improvements, inside and out.
The 208 has become Peugeot’s best selling car since its birth three years ago; now it has had an overhaul bringing changes inside and out with the aim of keeping ahead of the pack in a very competitive area of the market.
Peugeot say the new exterior design is more ‘assertive and distinctive’ with a sharper looking bumper and a wider grille incorporating a quality LED headlight signature. 16 and 17 inch wheels will be available across the range and the wing mirrors will be contained in chrome shells.
On the inside, a compact steering wheel will be trimmed in full-grain leather and improved connectivity will allow easy access to audio, navigation, telephone, vehicle information and internet. Mirrorscreen technology will for the first time, allow the 208 driver to transfer their smartphone screen to the large touch screen in the cockpit.
A range of engine options will be available including three power versions of the 1.6 litre BlueHDi and a quickshift technology six-speed automatic gearbox will be an option for those wishing to fly through the gears.
