A new entry-level Volkswagen Golf has been added to the range, with a price tag of £23,300 on-the-road.

Powered by a 108bhp 1.0-litre TSI three-litre turbocharged petrol engine, the efficient new model will be capable of up to 53.3mpg.  The entry-level model comes in Life trim, which includes 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors, electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors with memory feature, keyless start, VW’s sophisticated Innovision Cockpit which incorporates Digital Cockpit Pro 10-inch screen, 10-inch Discover Navigation touch-screen infotainment system, Adaptive Cruise Control, a Driver Alert System, Dynamic Road Sign Display, Lane Assist, and Front Assist, with extended pedestrian protection measures.
