DS Automobiles have announced a new limited-edition model in collaboration with the world-renowned Le Louvre museum and gallery in Paris.

The DS Crossback Louvre is available in Ink Blue, Perla Nera Black, and Platinum Grey exterior paintwork with Louvre Pyramid badging on the front wings, bonnet, tailgate, and door mirror housing using cutting edge laser etching techniques. Gloss black features on the front grille surround, window surrounds, and roof bars, and there are unique 20-inch diamond cut Alexandria alloy wheels.

Inside are pyramid shaped stainless steel air vent controls and Nappa leather trim, while the DS 7 Crossback Louvre even gives the driver the ability to access over 180 significant works of art through its 12-inch infotainment screen, accompanied by a four-minute podcast that reveals its history and secrets.

Power comes from a PureTech 225 petrol engine combined with 8-speed automatic transmission, giving a fuel economy of up to 39.8mpg and CO2 as low as 167g/km.

On-the-road prices start from £46,530, with every purchase including a year’s unlimited admission to the Louvre museum’s permanent collections and temporary exhibitions.
