Audi have taken the elegant styling and cutting edge intelligence of their A5 coupé and combined it with five-door practicality in their spacious and accommodating new A5 Sportback.
As well as the new look, increased efficiency, and extra space, the A5 Sportback comes with all of the latest Audi tech, including the virtual cockpit, Audi Smartphone Interface, and Audi connect. Audi's latest driving assistance tech will also be on board, with traffic jam assist and active lane assist available.
Audi are claiming a power increase of up to 17 per cent and a fuel consumption decrease of as much as 22 per cent, partly down to the intelligent multi-material body, which is the lightest in its class.
All four-cylinder TFSI and TDI engines are available in Quattro four-wheel drive, and the flagship Audi S5 Sportback will feature a V6 TFSI with 354PS and 500Nm. The S5 Sportback comes in 85kg lighter than its predecessor.
The new Audi A5 Sportback range is expected to be available to order in the UK in mid-October.
