Mercedes S63 AMG prices revealed | New Release - Car News Aug 2013

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that the new 577bhp S63 AMG will cost from £119,565 when it goes on sale in the UK in November.

The S63 AMG is the high-performance derivative in the new S-Class range and features a hand-built 5.5-litre V8 bi-turbo engine mated to an AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed transmission. 0-62mph takes just 4.4 seconds and the top speed is an electronically-limited 155mph.

Buyers can also opt to add the AMG Driver's Package, a £2,760 option, which derestricts the top speed to 186mph.

Mercedes claims that the S63 will return 27mpg on the combined cycle and emit 237g/km of CO2.

The S63 come with 19-inch 10-spoke AMG alloy wheels, high-performance composite brakes and AMG sports suspension which includes the new S-Class's Magic Body Control. Also included is the AMG sports exhaust system, new AMG-styled front and rear bumpers, aided cooling and new AMG-specific side sill panels with silver chrome inserts.

Technology included as standard on the new S63 includes the Driving Assistance Package, Front Seat Comfort Package, Panoramic sunroof, Keyless Go Package, the mighty Burmester Surround Sound System with Six-Disc changer, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Ambient Lighting. This is in addition to the standard kit included on the outgoing model.
