McLaren has given us our first glimpse inside the new P1 supercar.

The full interior of the McLaren P1 will not be revealed until the car goes on show at the Geneva Motor Show next month, but the images do show that the car will feature a digital dashboard display and a Race mode.

McLaren has also released a video demonstrating what happens when the driver selects Race mode. The active rear wing extends and the pitch of the wing alters into a more aerodynamic position. A bank of lights also appears on the car's digital dashboard, illuminating in green, red and blue. These act as a gearshift indicator, echoing the system used in McLaren's Formula One cars.

More information will be released when the P1 makes it motor show debut in Geneva next month.
