Mazda has added two new limited edition models to its 2 range. The Colour Edition and the Sport Colour Edition models are based on the existing Mazda2 SE Air Con but include a range of extra equipment and styling tweaks.
The Colour Edition costs from £11,745 and comes with Mazda's 1.3-litre 74bhp petrol engine, which will propel the car from 0-62mph in 14.9 seconds and return 56.5mpg. The Sport Colour Edition, meanwhile, gets the more powerful 85bhp 1.3-litre engine, which is good for 0-62mph in 13.6 seconds and 56.5mpg, with prices starting from £12,845.
Both the Colour and Sport Colour Editions are available in a choice of three finishes -- True Red, Crystal White and Aluminium Silver. The Colour Edition also comes with 15-inch dark-grey alloy wheels, privacy glass, black door mirror housings and a rear spoiler. Inside, there are dark grey inserts to the steering wheel, body-colour door trim and air vents louvres and a Parrot Bluetooth hands-free kit.
Sport Colour Edition models build on this specification with 16-inch dark grey alloys, a sports styling kit, sports headlamps and front fog lights. Inside, there's a new 6.1-inch sat-nav with integrated Bluetooth, a trip computer, a leather gear knob, electric rear windows, two addition speakers, an adjustable speed alarm, plus side and curtain airbags.
Just 1,000 examples of the Colour and Sport Colour Editions will be sold in the UK and Mazda is already taking orders.
