The updated Mazda CX-5 SUV hits UK dealerships this month.
The updated Mazda CX-5 UK line up features Mazda’s new 2.5-litre 194ps Skyactiv-G petrol engine for the first time. The new power plant debuted in the Mazda6 range last year, and is now available on CX-5 GT Sport models with automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
Exterior styling remains the same, but other revisions include an upgraded infotainment system with a larger, faster, and clearer 10.25-inch centre display screen, and an expanded range of Connected Services.
A new limited-edition model also joins the range in the form of the CX-5 Kuro Edition. Just 750 examples will be produced, powered by a 165ps Skyactiv-G engine and finished in Soul Red Crystal Metallic or Polymetal Grey Metallic paint with contrasting 19-inch black alloy wheels and black mirror caps. It features a power adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, combination leatherette and suede seat trim, black dashboard and door inserts, and red stitching on the seats, steering wheel, knee pads, gearshift surround, armrest and door surround.
