The new Infiniti G37x S can be now be found in all UK Infiniti Centres, available for an on-the-road starting price of £38,979.
With the launch of the new G37x S, Infiniti wanted to bring British car buyers a vehicle that combines ‘rakish style and dynamic performance with the safety of intelligent all-wheel drive’.
As the manufacturer pointed out, it is the first time Infiniti’s sportiest S grade has been available with AWD in the G range – so far, only the GT was available with AWD.
The G37x S is powered by a 316 bhp 3.7 litre V6 mated engine. It has a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifts and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 6 seconds. The latest Infiniti has a top speed of 149 mph.
In addition, the new G37x S has a combined fuel consumption of 25.7 mpg and delivers CO2 emissions of 255 g/km.
Standard equipment
In terms of features Infiniti pointed out that the G37x S comes with S ‘hallmarks’ such as red S badges, 18-inch Sport design alloy wheels and smoked lens headlights.
The inside of the vehicle features a Multimedia pack of hard disk drive (HDD) navigation and music systems, 10-speaker Bose Premium Sound System, reversing camera and high resolution touch screen.
All G models sold in the British motoring market will also come with leather seat facings, Shodo aluminium trim, adaptive bi-Xenon lights, Scratch Shield paint, i-Key smart access, electrically adjustable front seats and steering column, and heated front seats as standard.
UK car buyers can opt for a metallic paint finish, which will cost them an extra £577. The G range in the UK is completed by the G37 Coupé (from £36,359) and G37 Convertible (from £45,235).
However, buyers preferring the G37x S can purchase it from £40,619 and enjoy equipment including 4-Wheel Active Steer (4WAS), sports suspension, sports brakes and Viscous Limited Slip Differentia. Safety features include Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) and Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA).
