Hyundai has revealed design sketches for the forthcoming new generation i20, which will debut at the Mondial de l’Automobile at Paris this coming October.
Hyundai has developed a design philosophy which it likes to call ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0’, and the images of the new generation i20 show a sharply sculpted profile with distinctive dark accented treatment to the C-pillars. Hyundai’s signature hexagonal grille remains at the forefront of the bold new design, while to the rear is a wraparound rear window.
The new generation Hyundai i20 has been designed on the continent at the Korean car maker’s Design Centre Europe in the German city of Russelsheim. Hyundai have not provided further details regarding the technical specifications, trim levels, or pricing structure for the new i20 range, with these expected to be confirmed closer to the model’s launch.
