Nissan has given its Micra supermini a thorough mid-life facelift with a new exterior look and a substantially revised interior.
At the front end, the Micra gets new headlights, a new grille, new wings and a new front bumper, giving the car a more masculine, aggressive look.
At the rear end, Nissan has redesigned the car's rear bumper and fitted new LED tail lamps. The Micra also gets new alloy wheels and two new exterior colours.
On the inside, the Micra has been given a new centre console with an improved, larger 5.8-inch touchscreen, which includes the latest version of the firm's NissanConnect infotainment system. New trim and higher quality fabrics and plastics also help to differentiate the new Micra from its predecessor.
Mechanically, the Micra remains unchanged and is offered with the same range of engines as before, with a choice of 79bhp and supercharged 97bhp 1.2-litre petrol units.
The new Nissan Micra goes on sale in the UK in September, and although prices have yet to be revealed, we'd expect a small increase over the current car's £9,980 starting price.
