The new limited edition Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing has been unveiled and is likely to go on sale early next year.
Inspired by the concept car shown at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed and Frankfurt Motor Show, the new DS3 Cabrio Racing is powered by the same 207bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged engine that you get in the DS3 Racing and gets the same canvas folding roof arrangement you'll find on the DS3 Cabrio.
In addition to the standard design features you get on the DS3 Cabrio, this model also comes with chrome-finish twin exhaust pipes and a carbon-fibre finish on numerous bodywork components, including the air diffuser, the front splitter, the body sills and wing flares.
On the inside, the Moondust Grey bodywork colour (which is exclusive to this model) is carried over to the dashboard and centre console while the steering wheel inserts and fascia panel cap are finished in a carbon-fibre effect. The dashboard also features Crimson Red detailing, while the seat headrests get the Citroen Racing signature. A numbered identification plaque is also fitted on the base of the gear lever.
Citroen has yet to reveal the pricing of the new DS3 Cabrio Racing, nor how many examples will be coming to the UK.
