Citroen has released a teaser image of its new DS 5SL saloon, which will be aimed solely at the Chinese market.
A close-up of one of the car's wheels was posted to Citroen's official Facebook page with the caption: "On December 19th a new DS premium class sedan will be revealed: DS 5LS."
Unfortunately, the image doesn't really give much away about the new car; however, reports suggest that the model will be a saloon version of the DS4 which is already on sale in the UK. Traditionally, saloons have always been more popular than hatchbacks in the developing world.
Citroen is aiming to expand its operations in China to capitalise on the country's increasing demand for cars. The company also plans to market a new SUV based on the DS Wild Rubis concept in the country.
