Caterham has revealed a new special edition Seven, designed by none other than Caterham Formula One driver Kamui Kobayashi.

Based on the existing 250R model, only 10 versions of the Formula One-themed car will be available, each carrying a price tag of 6,000,000 Yen (£34,950).

Each model also comes with a range of bespoke features, all of which have been picked by Kobayashi for inclusion on the car.

Powered by a 1.6-litre Ford engine, the Kobayashi Edition produces 125bhp, which is enough to power it from 0-62mph in 5.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 125mph.

The exterior is finished in gloss back with matte black stripes, while each model comes with a number 10 badge on its nose -- a reference to Kobayashi's racing number. The front wings and rear wing protectors are finished in carbon-fibre 'infused' with Caterham green lacquer.

Inside, there's just one seat and a single rollover hoop, emphasising the car's single-seater design. You'll also find 'Kamui' logos on the seats, gear knob, dials and key.

The Kobayashi Seven is available to order now.
