A new specification will join the Audi A1 range from this autumn.
Called citycarver, the new specification will give the A1 a more rugged, off-road style, and 40mm of added ground clearance.
The Audi A1 citycarver is based on the A1 Sportback, but appears distinctly different with chunky wheel arch enhancements, contrasting sills, stainless steel finished underbody, and raised suspension. A distinctive matt black honeycomb grille at the front and, at the rear, a new look bumper, complete the look. There are nine exterior colours and the option of a contrast roof in either Mythos black metallic or Manhattan grey metallic.
Inside is an 8.8-inch MMI touch screen and 10.25-inch fully digital cockpit display. A1 citycarver can also be chosen with an optional Technology Pack, which adds Audi virtual cockpit including MMI navigation, a larger 10.1-inch high resolution screen, Audi connect with online services, and Audi Phone Box wireless smartphone charging. Comfort and Sound Pack is also available adding Parking System Plus with acoustic and visual assistance, front seat heating, and Bang & Olufsen 3D 560-watt sound system.
Other accoutrements include larger 17-inch alloy wheels, and a roof-edge spoiler normally reserved for S line versions.
The Audi A1 citycarver will arrive in the UK from September, with full specification and pricing details to follow closer to launch.
