CAP, publisher of the Black Book used car price guide, is predicting "a gradual erosion" in used car prices following a long period of strength in the used market. CAP blames the predicted slump on an increase in the number of new cars being sold to rental companies, along with the "aggressive incentivising" of new cars to retail customers.
One of the original 'Eleanor' Ford Mustangs as featured in the film Gone in 60 Seconds will go up for auction in the Mecum sae at the Indianapolis 500 on 18 May. Although eleven examples were built for the film, the model on sale here is the one which was used in all of the film's close-ups and promotional material.
