The Vauxhall Corsa is a small family hatchback and is one of Vauxhall’s most popular models. The newest version of the Vauxhall Corsa (the Corsa D) has again received much success in Britain, even winning the What Car? 'Car of the Year' award in 2007. The engine range hasn’t changed much from the Corsa C however since a facelift in 2010 the Corsa now has a new petrol and diesel range which fully complies with the Euro 5 standards.

Vauxhall Corsa Overview
The Corsa is great to drive with a comfortable cabin and good economy. There is no doubt that competition within this sector is steep, but the little Vauxhall Corsa should have all that it needs to succeed.
Background
The Corsa was first put into production in 1982 as three-door hatchbacks and two-door saloons. It was marketed in Britain as the Vauxhall Nova replacing the Vauxhall Chevette and giving Vauxhall a much needed competitor in the UK ‘supermini’ market.
In 1993 the Corsa B was introduced, and the Nova name was dropped. The Corsa B also received an update in 1997 which provided the Corsa with better safety features and different styling options. In 2000 the Corsa C was introduced and met with great success in the UK, it was the most popular supermini and the second most popular car overall from 2002 to 2004.
The Corsa D was then introduced in 2006 and has since received two facelifts, one in 2010 which introduced some new engines and one in 2011 which has given the Corsa a much more modern look.
Overview
The Vauxhall Corsa should appeal to a variety of buyers with its low purchase price and running costs.
