The Renault Scenic is a very attractive and appealing small sized MVP. The Scenic shouldn’t have any problems giving competitors a run for their money.

Renault Scenic Overview
The current Renault Scenic has boasts a fuel economy that ranges 35.0 mpg to 69.0 mpg and offers a selection of engines ranging from a 1.4 litre to a 2.0 litre. There are also 5 different trim levels to be pondered; Extreme, Expression, I-Music Special Edition, Dynamic TOMTOM and Privilege TOMTOM.

Background
The Renault Scenic was first put into production in 1996 and was first put on sale in the UK in 1997 where it was the only small MPV sold by a mainstream manufacturer in the UK for the following 2 years. It was met with higher demand than expected and won the 1997 What Car?, Car of the Year award.
The second generation Renault Scenic was released in 2003. The all new Scenic featured new styling similar to that of the Renault Megane which was launched around the same time. The second generation included innovative features such as the Renault Card which acted as a key and and automatic parking brake. It received a facelift in 2006 which mainly consisted of cosmetic updates, it was the replaced by the third generation model in 2009.
A ‘Conquest’ variant has also been designed which shares features common in 4X4s such as a raised body kit.
Small MPV’s face stiff competition, but the Scenic is at the top of its class. The car has been designed for family appeal. It’s not fast and doesn’t provide much in the way of performance.
Summary
The Scenic is the ideal family vehicle. It comes affordably priced and with a decent level of equipment. The car is comfortable and delivers a smooth ride.
