This small MPV is another Citroen offering that squeezes a practical amount of space from a small car. The only engine available is a 1.3 litre diesel that never feels particularly quick, even when it’s at its best in town. However, the Nemo Multispace is designed to be a practical, economical small MPV, and the diesel unit fulfils that purpose well, achieving over 65mpg thanks in part to stop start technology which is fitted as standard.

Citroen Nemo Multispace Overview
Despite being based on the Nemo van, this model offers decent handling and refinement. It rides bumps well and the quick, light steering works well in towns and cities where the car is most at home. The commercial roots of the vehicle does help to make this one of the more practical small MPV’s on the market.
Interior space is good, helped by the high roofline that means no passengers will be wanting for extra headroom. Legroom is also reasonable in both the front and rear, which is surprising for such a small car. In addition the rear sliding doors provide excellent access, and are particularly useful when entering or exiting the car in a tight parking space. The boot is of a good size, at 340 litres and the rear seats can be folded or removed completely giving the Nemo Multispace back its van sized carrying capacity.
The interior is build for purpose rather than elegance. The materials used have a robust feel, but may not be the most attractive. Instruments are clear and the dash layout is sensible and easy to use.
Background

The Nemo was developed in a joint partnership between Fiat and PSA Peugeot Citroen which produced the third generation of the Fiat Fiorino, Peugeot Bipper and the Citroen Nemo. All of these small vans were based on the Fiat Grande Punto Platform.
Summary
