You see, this is the on-board footage from Robbie Kerr's record-breaking run at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power last weekend.
Strapped into a Radical SR8 RX, the ex Le Mans-winner manages to manhandle the 430bhp road-legal monster around the 1.2-mile Cholmondeley sprint course in just 55.29 seconds -- 6.6 seconds faster than the previous record which was set by Scott Mansell in the Caterham SP/300.R last year.
Judging from the video, Mr Kerr must be blessed with some cast iron plums as he manages to average 78mph around a course barely wider than the car itself, and flanked on both sides with unforgiving Armco and dry stone walls, ready to punish the slightest mistake.
