Ford has won yet more accolades from What Car? – three to be exact – this time in the Used Car Awards. The Fiesta, Mondeo and S-MAX all came out on top in their relative classes.

The Fiesta was recognised for its outstanding value – particularly the five-door, 58-plate 1.25-litre Style that comes equipped with air conditioning, electric windows and an MP3 stereo.

The What Car? experts had this to say about it: “As well as being well priced, the Ford Fiesta has low running costs. The Fiesta is genuinely entertaining to drive, quiet and smooth, well specified and roomy, which means it suits most small car buyers perfectly."

What Car? also highlighted the four-year-old, five-door Mondeo Zetec with a 2.0-litre TDCi engine, and the S-MAX Zetec of the same age with the same engine.

"Ford's best ever new car range is now providing the used market with a succession of exciting models.  The Ford Fiesta, Mondeo and S-MAX are winning over customers from the showroom to the forecourt through an unrivalled combination of quality and value," said Ford Britain’s managing director, Mark Ovenden.
