We all know that a good car chase can improve the quality of a film by about 432 per cent. It's a scientifically-proven fact.

However, the problem with car chases is that they're ruinously expensive -- the chase from The Matrix Reloaded was said to have cost more than $40million. And that's a lot of money.

The answer, apparently, is to use remote-controlled cars. The video you see below was created by filmmakers Freddie Wong and Brandon Laatsch to promote the new Need For Speed: Most Wanted video game which is due out tomorrow.

In the film you see Porsches, Mustangs, Dodge Vipers and Nissan GT-Rs fly over helicopters, drive over ramps and crash into gratuitous fruit stands.
