The new Swift Sport from Suzuki has won the title of 'Best Buy Hot Hatch' at the 2012 What Car? awards.
The new performance flagship model in the Suzuki Swift range has won the title of 'Best Buy Hot Hatch' for less than £15,000 in the 2012 What Car? Awards. The Swift Sport is priced from £13,499.
The latest version of the Swift Sport features a 10% reduction in fuel consumption and emissions. The cost of ownership is further reduced by a change in the insurance category from 23 down to 19. The standard equipment list includes automatic air conditioning, rear privacy glass, 17 inch alloy wheels, metallic paint finish, HID Projector headlamp, cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity.
Standard safety features include seven airbags, with curtain and driver's knee airbags, ESP, and shock-absorbing materials in the body pillars.
The Editor of What Car? magazine Chas Hallet commented on the choice of the Suzuki Swift Sport, saying:
"The all new Suzuki Swift Sport is a brilliant junior hot hatch which is at home on all kinds of roads thanks to its strong grip, tight body control and accurate steering. Priced at £13,499 and equipped with luxury specification it's a great hot hatch that is perfect for young drivers."
