Careful drivers looking to combat spiralling insurance costs will have an extra option as two insurance services have joined forced to create a new brand.

Comparison website Confused.com has linked up with Quotemehappy to launch a new online-only insurance brand Quotemehappy.com.

The new brand is targeted specifically at careful drivers, with eligibility open only to drivers with no more than one claim, and no more than two minor motoring convictions, in the past five years. The company claims it will offer competitive comprehensive quotes to careful driver, with costs being kept low due to its on-line only operation. The company claims that excluding new drivers, older or more expensive cars, and drivers with more than one at-fault claim in the past four years will allow them to further reduce premiums.

The online operation of the brand will allow round-the-clock free access for customers to access and amend their policy details.

Quotemehappy.com Managing Director Marco Distefano said, "Quotemehappy was created to give careful drivers a fair pricing and personal service when getting car insurance, and see Confused.com as the ideal partner to ensure that this brand continues to reach the maximum number of potential customers as possible. Whilst further enhancing Confused.com's commitment to provide a specialist quote for every client, from every background with any specific needs."
