These are the official production stills from Ron Howard's latest movie 'Rush'.
Fans of the Canadian rock band are likely to be disappointed, as the subject of the film is the epic rivalry between two of the greatest Formula One drivers of their era -- James Hunt and Niki Lauda.
The film centres on the 1976 F1 Season -- the season in which Hunt won his first and only World Championship, and in which Lauda's chances of taking the title were scuppered by a horrific crash at the Nürburgring.
The photos show the main stars of the film, Chris Hemsworth (Hunt) and Daniel Brühl (Lauda), and it's uncanny just how much the two actors look like the racing drivers themselves.
At BuyYourCar.co.uk, there's nothing we love more than a good car film, and 'Rush' promises to be an absolute stonker for two reasons. Number One, Ron Howard is a superb director (as anyone who has seen the screen adaptation of Frost/Nixon will surely testify); and two, the film harks back to a time when Formula One racing was truly exciting and the drivers risked life and limb in the pursuit of glory.
Unfortunately, we'll have to wait another year before we get to see it.
