Here at CarSite Castle, there's nothing we like better than a tale of good old fashioned British eccentricity.

And they really don't come more eccentric than Paul Harborne from Sedgeley, West Midlands. He's spent more than £50,000 restoring a 1959 Cadillac into an exact replica of ETCO-1 -- the car used in the 1984 film Ghostbusters.

The 49-year-old has previously restored an A-Team van, and turned his attentions to the Ghostbusters vehicle after locating a battered old '59 Caddy -- one of only six left in the country.

Since then Mr Harborne has added a DVD player, flashing lights and scrolling LED signs. He's also rigged up an iPod to play realistic-sounding siren noises.

Mr Harborne plans to hire out the vehicle so Ghostbusters fans can relive their favourite moments from the film.
