The fifth and final DVLA Personalised Registration sale of 2015 takes place in Gloucestershire next week with a staggering 1,600 numbers up for grabs.
Highlights include a number plate that will attract the interest of any proud Bristolian; BR15 TOL, which is up for grabs with a £700 reserve, while for the same figure those of a Scottish persuasion might well consider TH15 TLE or WH15 KEY. Away from geographical numbers, any Alisons, Lesleys, or Franks may be tempted by AL15 SON, LE15 LEY, or FR14 NKS, all of which also carry a £700 reserve.
DVLA Personalised Registration auctions have enjoyed a purple patch this year, with the three-day sale in Stratford-upon-Avon six weeks ago seeing all but two of the 1,600 lots on offer sold – a staggering conversion rate of 99.8 per cent – while the spring sale in Chesterfield witnessed a record sum for a current-style registration when £233,360 was paid for KR15 HNA.
The final event of the year will take place on Wednesday 25 November at the Cheltenham Chase Hotel in Brockworth, Gloucestershire.
