Citroen’s DS3 has been named Car of the Year 2011 by Diesel Car magazine.

The DS3 also romped away to win the award for Best Small Car. The DS3 has already won a host of accolades including Top Gear's 'Small Car of the Year' and CarBuyer's 'Best Hot Hatch'.

Citroën has already sold over 80,000 examples of the DS3 and claims that the small car "has transformed the supermini sector with its modern styling, unique personality and rewarding driving dynamics".
