The new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is set to make its UK debut at the Gadget Show Live on Friday, a month after it made its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The new Grand C4 Picasso is the latest iteration of Citroen's seven-seater MPV and features a range of new technology including two screens -- a 7-inch touchscreen and a 12-inch panoramic HD screen -- as well as 360 vision, a facility which gives the driver a bird's eye view of their car to make parking easier. Park Assist is also on offer, as is a motorised front passenger footrest and massaging front seats.

Based on the EMP2 platform which underpins the new Peugeot 308, the Grand C4 Picasso weighs around 100kg less than its predecessor but is more spacious inside thanks to a longer wheelbase.

Three diesel engines will be on offer from launch: an e-HDi 90 Airdream, an e-HDi 115 and a BlueHDi 150. The most frugal of these, the e-HDi 90 Airdream, emits just 98g/km of CO2 and returns 74.3mpg.

Also on the Citroen stand at the Gadget Show Live will be the new DS5 Hybrid4, a DS3 and an augmented reality display if the DS3 Cabrio.

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso will be launched in the UK in January 2014.
