Car production at Aston Martin’s St Athan plant in Wales is restarting having been suspended since March due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The company has been working with trade unions to agree a phased return to work for production staff with new procedures on social distancing, PPE, and hygiene, including temperature checks on arrival at work.

Aston Martin staff have been busy helping to fight the coronavirus crisis in recent weeks, manufacturing PPE and providing free emergency repairs to NHS workers’ cars.  Work at the company’s HQ at Gaydon will resume shortly.
