Traditionally, Alfa Romeo ownership consisted of many long hours spent at the side of motorway in a cloud of smoke waiting for the AA man – who you now knew by name – to arrive. However, the latest figures suggest that Alfa Romeo drivers are now amongst the most satisfied in Britain.

The J.D. Power and Associates 2011 UK Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS) puts Alfa Romeo tenth in its list of manufacturers - joint with Toyota and VW. Indeed, Alfa scored an impressive 805 out of 1000 points, well above the industry average of 794.

This is good news for Alfa Romeo as it proves that the public is satisfied with its two newest cars – the MiTo and the Giulietta.

Damien Dally, the Head of Brand for Alfa Romeo UK said: "We are encouraged by these results and will strive to continue improving all areas of the customer experience journey."
