Brief History
Perodua is a relatively young car manufacturer. The company’s first car, the Perodua Kancil, was launched in 1994.
In 1997 the company held a competition in order to design a new logo. The competition was won by a Malaysian University student. The logo maintains the ‘P’ and the ‘2’ from the original logo yet presents a more stylish and sophisticated image. The green colour in the logo symbolizes social responsibility to the environment and community, while the red in the logo represents the development of a competent workforce and the ability to compete in a globalised world.
Today, the company is recognised as a producer of small family cars. Perodua employ around 10,000 people.

Perodua Myvi
The Myvi is a small family car that doubles as a great car for new drivers.
Despite a low asking price, the Myvi is surprisingly spacious with a smart interior layout. The car is a 5-door hatchback and cheap to run with low emissions. It has a smart outer shell and handles very well.
The Myvi’s standard audio unit includes a radio/CD player. The unit comes with four speakers and delivers decent sound quality. The basic system also includes a traffic alert feature.
